This morning, local Japanese carrier NTT Docomo introduced its Winter – Spring 2013/2014 mobile handset line-up offer which includes Sony Xperia Z1 f, the mini variant of Sony Xperia Z1 announced last month with a 20.7MP camera and Snapdragon 800 processor.

Sony Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F) features almost same hardware specifications as its bigger brother Xperia Z1. The only differences are its measurements 127mm × 65mm × 9.4mm and the screen – 4.3-inch 720p instead of 5-inch 1080p, but aside from that Xperia Z1 f packs the same Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 2,300 mAh battery, same 20.7MP camera and Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean).

The small and yet so powerful Sony Xperia Z1 f will hit sale during winter holidays (December) in Japan, according to carrrier’s press release.

  1. Wow, this thing will rock with a Snapdragon 800 CPU and 720p display! It also manages to top the competition including the Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini. The price may be on the higher side though.
