It is no secret that Samsung Electronics has been developing for the last couple of years a device based on a curved / flexible display. Samsung has been showing it around whenever it had the chance, pretty much at all important expo’s around the world (CES, MWC, etc) and with the latest development, it looks like the OEM is ready to out its first ever smartphone using a curved / flexible OLED display. In fact, Samsung execs seemingly confirmed the curved display based smartphone during Galaxy Note 3 official launch in Korea.
New round of rumours coming straight from South Korea suggest that the smartphone will be marketed as Samsung Galaxy Round and it could feaure an almost 360 degree display (wrapped around the device front/back).
According to Asian Economy publication in Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Round key specs are similar with Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it will sell for around 1 million WON (about $950 USD, 700 Euro).
