HTC Butterfly 2, the follow-up of the HTC Butterfly / Droid DNA smartphone is goind to make its way onto the mobile markets in the following three months, if the rumours are true.
Alleged HTC Butterfly 2 front panel has been photographed in a couple of pictures which you can see above and below. According to these images the front is a lot different than the previous model, as you can see, the bottom navigation buttons are cut down to just two buttons like on the HTC One, instead of three and there is no HTC Boomsound Speakers, probably this is the first clue that HTC has ended its partnership with Beats Audio for good, after selling the remaining 25% in the company last week.
The rumour has it that HTC Butterfly 2 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD LCD3 display, Qualcomm’s most recent chipset, the Snapdragon 800, likely 2GB of RAM and a 8MP rear-camera. On the software side we are expecting Android 4.3 or Android 4.4 with HTC Sense 5.5 on top of it.
HTC Butterfly 2 could be introduced during CES 2014, early next year in Las Vegas.
