The software update distribution is like a never ending story, no matter how much money a user spends on an Android device, he’ll always have difficulties when it comes to keeping it to the latest version of Android, unless you own a Nexus device.
HTC is one of the many manufacturers (including Samsung, LG, etc) which is always struggling to keep its customers happy and updated to the latest version of Android for various reasons, however this article is not about discussing reasons, but to inform our readers that HTC has just started what will be a massive wave of software updates which is supposed to hit devices like HTC One (locked/unlocked), HTC Butterfly, HTC Droid DNA, and probably other handsets too, by year end.
Android 4.3 update is already rolling out to HTC One unlocked version in the US / Canada / Taiwan, while the HTC SKUS carrier models will start receiving it after October 1st, according to Jason Mackenzie, the President of HTC America.
3 days left on 4.3 deadline for US/Canada HTC One. Unlocked out! Carrier skus coming, but will slightly miss 9/30. Will keep u updated…

Meanwhile HTC Butterfly users in India (Asia) are already experiencing Android 4.2.2 with HTC Sense 5.0 as the update is already underway over there.
