CyanogenMod Inc was born from metamorphosis, that’s right. – The four year old CyanogenMod is now a fully fledged company which managed to raise $7 million Benchmark Capital and Redpoint Ventures.
CyanogenMod further aims to provide an effortless way to ditch the manufacturer bloated ROMs and poor software life-cycle details the team in their recent lengthy blog post. They’re basically facilitating the hideous lengthy installation process by building an installer that’s going to make this process dead simple. Steve Kondik believes that Cyanogen Mod could be a ‘mobile OS by the users, for the users.
