The CyanogenMod team has been cooking some fresh features since CM10.1, we’ve seen Privacy Guard and more recently CyanogenMod Account; a feature that will basically allow users to remotely track & wipe their devices.
That very feature has finally been implemented in the latest official nightly builds. Users can already create a CyanogenMod Account right now from their website.
CyanogenMod reassured us that they will not collect any user-identifiable information nor share anything with any 3rd parties through CyanogenMod Account.
Accounts will appear in 10.1 and 10.2 builds starting on September 9th, but it will be a while before they show up in release candidates or stable builds.
