Lenovo may not have been quite during the first quarter of this year but the Chinese giant isn’t giving up yet.
Lenovo trotted its latest flagship device at IFA 2013, the 6.9mm thin Vibe X is an 121g 5-incher featuring a “20/20 vision display” 1080p display. Under the hood you’ll find a quad-core MediaTek 6589T SoC complemented by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage while Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean runs the show.
On the rear you’ll find a 13MP main shooter while the front camera clocks in at 5MP capable of 84-degree angle viewing for optimal video calling. There’s Gorilla Glass 3 with beveled edges as well but no mention of battery capacity.
It’s quite a letdown that Lenovo is set using a dated release of Android in a flagship but 4.3 upgrade may already be the works.
The Lenovo Vibe X will hit Chinese shelves next month, with a wider release in December. International availability or prices have not been revealed yet.
