LG stepped out of the tablet game a long time ago, but now they are ready to make a comeback with a more competitive slate and better marketing strategies. The tablet that’s hiding up LG’s sleeve is the LG G Pad 8.3, a mid-sized high-end tablet of the ‘G’ dynasty that’s known for producing high-quality devices.
The LG G Pad 8.3 is going to be announced at IFA 2013 in Berlin, which is soon. Our sources claim that it will sport a quad-core Snapdragon 600 CPU, 2GB RAM, 8.3-inch WXUGA 1920x1200p display, 5MP back camera and a 2MP front-facing shooter. It will be sold in two models: Wi-FI-only and Wi-Fi plus LTE.
Design-wise, it’s safe to refer to the LG G Pad as an upsized LG G2, as they are crafted from the same blueprint. We quite like the design of the G Pad, but it still remains to be seen and felt in real life. The material of choice is probably plastic, the same that LG uses for the G2.
Additionally, we have an official teaser for the LG G Pad 8.3, in which LG indicates that its tablet would be perfect for you. Here’s the video for you to enjoy:
