No, the physical QWERTY keyboard Droid series is not dead, at least not according to these photos that you see here, which allegedly shows the Motorola Droid 5 smartphone for Verizon Wireless.
Verizon thinks there’s still market out there for a Motorola Droid 4 sequel, but this time without hardware keys, but rather on-screen buttons, and it also feature NFC, wireless charging, its got a 5-row slide-out QWERTY keyboard, water and dust resistant coating, as well as 4G LTE and Android Jellybean.
The new circle Motorola logo sits on top of the screen, on the left side and from what we can see in these images while the device is in hand, it looks like a 4.5 to 4.7 inch display (probably a 720p screen as Motorola doesn’t really dig the Full HD resolution).
Motorola Droid 5 could feature the same ClearPixel technology camera equipping the Moto X, and from what we can see in these photos leaked on the Chinese Weibo social network, there is a front-facing camera as well.
Well, thats all for now folks, we will get back with more on this newly discovered device, the moment we receive new information.
