Sony is about to uncover its latest flagship smartphone, which will be called Sony Xperia Z1 (Honami). The smartphone most certainly will pack all the best of Sony, as the teaser started yesterday implies it.
A couple of hours ago, Sony tweeted the second teaser of the Honami device saying “About to make a splash..”, which could only mean two things: 1) that it will pack all the best components from Sony, and second that it has a waterproof coasting like Xperia Z and Xperia Tablet Z.
Meanwhile an alleged press image has been leaked online revealing a rather different lens on the back of the Xperia Z1, thanks to Geeky Gadgets, who also has some specs for us. Sony Xperia Z1 feature 20 megapixel Sony Exmor RS camera (main feature of the device), 2MP front facing camera, 5 inch Full HD display (apparently not 5.2″ if Geeky’s source is correct), 16GB of built-in storage (up to 64GB microSD slot included), quad-core 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor backed up by 2GB of RAM.
Under two weeks before we will get the chance to look and feel the new Xperia Z1 at IFA 2013, in Berlin.
