HTC is getting better at releasing timely updates to its devices. That’s supported by the fact that the HTC One and even the Droid DNA got their Android 4.2 Jellybean upgrades shortly after launch. And now, when the time calls for an 4.3 update, HTC will be ready to respond by upgrading the One and Droid DNA by the end of September, as HTC employee Jason Mackenize tweeted on his Twitter profile.
Lots of questions re 4.3 release for One. We r wrking hard (needs cert) to release 4.3 across all US, Canada skus by end Sept. DNA as well.

This is great news for HTC One and Droid DNA owners in the US and Canada, but what about other countries? They will probably receive the upgrade shortly after, so we wouldn’t worry about that.
The upgrade should come with a slightly updated flavor of Sense known as 5.5, and naturally, with all other improvements Android 4.3 has brought to the table. It’s possible a test build of the ROM to leak in the near future (it always happens), so we’ll keep our eyes close.
