The Chinese manufacturers are continuously competing in the ever-lasting race of being the one to hold the world’s thinnest smartphone under its name. And by the looks of it, the next crown holder will be the Chinese company BKK with its upcoming smartphone called Vivo X3.
The Vivo X3 is razor-thin, measuring only 5.75mm in profile. It’s thin enough that it participated in a weird photoshoot, where it appears as if it’s being used as a knife for cutting vegetables. Funny indeed!
Pictures aside, this leak arrived with a specsheet of the device. The Vivo X3 will come with a 5-inch 720p display, 1,5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6589T processor, 1GB RAM, 8MP-5MP rear and front camera combo, running on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean. The phone is said to be enriched with advanced HiFi sound.
The Vivo X3 will be officially announced on August 22, and will later hit stores in China for a price of 2699 Chinese yuan, or $437.76. Here’s a full gallery of images:
