New Asus FonePad HD 7, MeMo Pad HD 8 Specs Leaked, 1.6GHz Intel Atom inside

Exactly a week ago we reported  about a meeting in France where names of the  Asus FonePad Mini, Asus MeMO Pad HD 8 and Asus MeMOFone HD 5 came up as part of Asus Smartphone and Pad strategy in a couple of slides among other product names. And in as much as we approximated the launch of these new devices to be in a span of about 6months the devices might actually come earlier just in time for the IFA 2013.

On a build up to  that report thanks to a tipster who found on GFXBenchmark website an Asus product using the build-name ME180A and touted as an WW_ePad brought to a new light that this could be Asus MeMO Pad HD 8 or the MeMOFOne HD 5.

A new development has surfaced again this time detailing on the specs of Asus FonePad HD 7, MeMo Pad HD 10 and MeMo Pad HD 8.Starting with the FonePad HD 7 with the seven also standing for the size of the display capable of a 1280 x 800 resolution, 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage though what’s not clear is whether it is expandable or not. It also comes with a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom Z2560 Clover Trail+ dual-core processor, WI-FI, 3G, Bluetooth and is believed to offer 9hrs of battery. What is not clear however is whether the 9hr battery life is in relation to video play, continuous use or standby mode.

The MeMo Pad HD 10 on the other hand is reported to bag in it a 10-inch IPS display with a similar 1280 x 800 as its sister Asus FonePad HD 7.Apart from that it will be powered by a Rockchip quad-core processor and a working RAM size of 1GB, 8GB internal storage not forgetting rear and front facing cameras. Nothing as far as connectivity has been mentioned on this particular model but we expect it to support WI-FI and 3G on the low side.

Details on the MeMo Pad are however scarce but as goes for the rest of the Pads it’s expected to come with 8-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 and feature  1.6GHZ processor believed to be powered by a Rockchip quad-core processor. From the trend its quite clear that the Memo pad is still in the works and may actually be the one holding the rest from release. Well, let’s wait and see what the next few days will bring to the table.
