LG Electronics recently announced its current flagship smartphone LG G2, which drops the ‘Optimus’ in the branding name, a decision that LG made not to long ago for all of its future devices. LG VU III is the possible name for its third-generation phablet, according to Asian Economy publication.
LG VU III likely will launch early next month at IFA 2013, in Berlin. Rumored specs hint to a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 5.2 inch IPS Full HD display (4:3 aspect ratio) and 4G LTE technology (possibly LTE-Advanced).
The same publication claims the device will go on sale by the end of September in South Korea, but they didn’t disclose a price tag for the LG VU III.
