Earlier today LG Electronics announced the LG G2 at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, New York, a smartphone crafted for consumers by their own ideas, says LG.

LG G2 is the first in the new G series and the worlds first smartphone to feature a Power button / Trackpad on the back of handset (no fingerprint scanner) right under the 13MP camera with OIS and LED Flash, studio quality Hi-Fi Sound, a 5,2 inch edge-to-edge display (less than 3mm thin bezel). The new flagship comes with a handful of new software features kind of like the Galaxy S4, including Answer Me, Text Link, Plug & Pop, QuickRemote, Slide aside, Guest mode and much more.

Nearly 700 guests from over 30 countries converged at the renowned Frederick P. Rose Hall, Home of Jazz at Lincoln Centerin New York for the global introduction of the device. Based on LG’s research of consumer lifesty
