LG Electronics announces LG G2 with 5.2 inch screen, Snapdragon 800 CPU & Power button on the back

Earlier today LG Electronics announced the LG G2 at the Frederick P. Rose Hall, New York, a smartphone crafted for consumers by their own ideas, says LG.

“Our definition of innovation today is technology that truly resonates with consumers,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of  the LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, who welcomed the guests to the event. “We have always listened to and learned from consumers in pursuit of innovation. We took these insights to new heights in developing LG G2, the most exciting and ambitious mobile phone in our company’s history.”

LG G2 is the first in the new G series and the worlds first smartphone to feature a Power button / Trackpad on the back of handset (no fingerprint scanner) right under the 13MP camera with OIS and LED Flash, studio quality Hi-Fi Sound, a 5,2 inch edge-to-edge display (less than 3mm thin bezel). The new flagship comes with a handful of new software features kind of like the Galaxy S4, including Answer Me, Text Link, Plug & Pop, QuickRemote, Slide aside, Guest mode and much more.
