After coming top of the list beating HP in the overall sales and coming close to beating the HP market coverage earlier this month Lenovo seems to be taking this a notch higher after the earlier launch of 5.5″ Lenovo K900 phablet in India, coming as a great surprise to many due to its large screen and performance powered by the Intel processor. Lenovo has now stepped a notch higher with the next premium phone packing in it a Snapdragon 800 processor, named Lenovo X910 with an impressive score of 29,231 coming in line with other similar devices running the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800.The S800 was tested in China and clocks an impressive 2.1 GHz and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.

What is not clear however is if the X910 is the successor of the previously launched K900 or K800 released quite earlier since this has not been officially confirmed by Lenovo. Speculations however are that the launch may be during the IFA Berlin that is scheduled for the month of September, later this year or in August as is with most high-end devices as the company seeks to see the performance of the phone in the competitive Android market.

Amongst the top devices set to be showcased during the IFA tech show, includes Samsung’s re-charged Galaxy S4 LTE -A with Snapdragon 800 processor, Japanese titan Sony with the Honami i1 and the Honami i1 Mini, the Xperia Z Ultra and also the HTC One Max with an ultra-fast chipset. Seemingly Lenovo isn’t stopping at anything to have a share of the smartphone market and we have to watch and wait as the Android market competition take on new dynamics.
