ZTE U988S has been making the rounds for the last 24 hours as a possible “worlds first smartphone” to feature Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, however according to Chinese TENAA technology certification website (the equivalent of FCC in US) the only details unveiled is its dual SIM support forĀ TD-SCDMA / GSM networks, and that it is running on Android operating system (likely JellyBean 4.2 although the site doesn’t mention it).

ZTE U988S could end up as a dual SIM device for the Asian market only, because that’s where consumers really fond smartphones with dual SIM support. The images uploaded on TENAA site shows a dedicated camera button, a micro USB port on the lower left side, a camera on the back with LED Flash and what it looks like Dolby DTS Sound logo at the bottom right on top of the speaker grill.

The Chinese vendor will likely bring this handset at IFA 2013 exhibition, in Berlin at the end of August, if it is a global device, otherwise we probably wont.
