Samsung’s latest budget offering Galaxy Ace 3 is now available for pre-ordering from Clove Technology UK. The smartphone is priced at £199.99 (£239.99 including VAT), a good price for the value.
Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 beats its predecessor on all fronts. The display is stretched at 4 inches, but carries the same amount of pixels, namely 480×800. It houses a 1,2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The Ace 3 comes with 8GB storage and a microSD card slot for memory expansion, supporting cards of up to 64GB. The camera on the back is a 5MP one, while the front shooter is a VGA unit. The connectivity department is fully-covered with 3G HSPA+ and 4G support, as well as Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and all those good stuff. It’s powered by a modest 1800mAh battery, but it’s a budget smartphone after all, so there’s not much space for nit-picking in this area. The Galaxy Ace 3 runs on the latest Android 4.2 Jellybean version with the new TouchWiz UI, which is a relief if you take the fiasco with the Ace 2 update into account.
