HTC One Dual SIM Updated to Android 4.2 Jellybean, Regular Version Still on Hold

htc oneHTC has begun rolling out the awaited Android 4.2.2 Jellybean update to the HTC One Dual SIM version. Unfortunately, this batch does not cover the regular HTC One, only the China-bound HTC smartphone.

The update is relatively small in size, as it weighs just about 175,25MB. It delivers numerous improvements, as well as new features that are part of the Android 4.2.2 release like quick toggles and lockscreen widgets. The functionality of the home button is improved and there’s an option to remove the odd-looking contextual menu bar that appears in specific occasions.

The update is available OTA, which means everyone can grab it straight from their devices.
