HTC announced the current largest smartphone in its portfolio – HTC Butterfly S alongside HTC Desire 600, on June 19th. HTC Butterfly S is a 5 inch Full HD beast of a smartphone (0.3 inch larger than the HTC One) powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM and Adreno 320 GPU. It also comes with 16GB built-in storage but with a microSD card slot in comparison with the HTC One, a 3,200 mAh battery, reason why it weighs almost 20 grams more.
Both smartphones will be available for sale on July 1st through Chunghwa Telecom network operator in Taiwan. HTC Butterfly S will cost 22,900 TWD (about $760 USD) unlocked, while HTC Desire 600 with its Dual-SIM support will go on sale for $12,900 TWD (about $430 USD).
