Sony has scheduled a duplex event for tomorrow, June 25, in both Germany and China, where the Japanese electronics maker will unveil several new products in the Xperia series.
Sources say that besides a new smartwatch, which will be an accessory for the Xperia 2013 smartphone series, Sony will announce a 6.21 inch Xperia ZU phablet also known to the public as Sony Xperia Z Ultra or Togari and Xperia CN3 which is a 5 inch 720p HD smartphone powered by a MediaTek quad-core MT6589 processor.
Other specs for Sony Xperia CN3 1280×720 screen resolution, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear-facing camera, and Android 4.2 JellyBean OS. The price range for the Sony Xperia CN3 is around 2,000 Chinese Yuan (about USD $320).
Sony Xperia Z Ultra will apparently feature an IPS 6.21 inch Full HD display and not a 6.44 inch as it was hinted before. The Xperia Z Ultra or Xperia ZU will pack next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (MSM8974) clocked at 2.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 8MP rear-facing camera with Exmor RS sensor, 1.3MP camera up front, maybe a stylus (S Pen-like accessory), and of corse Android OS version 4.2.2 (JellyBean).
Xperia Z Ultra (model XL39h) goes on sale soon for 5599 yuan (about USD $900) likely with a docking cradle.
