Toshiba has just announced that they will be releasing a couple of new 10.1 inch REGZA tablets – Toshiba REGZA AT503 and Toshiba REGZA AT703 on June 21st.
Toshiba REGZA AT703 is a high-end tablet like the Galaxy Note 10.1, packed with the latest Nvidia Tegra 4 chipset clocked at 1.8GHz, a 10.1 inch (2560×1600) PixelPure LED (WQXGA) display covered by Gorilla Glass 2, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, 2GB of RAM, 32GB built-in memory (microSD slot), 8MP rear-facing camera, 1.2MP in front, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, 9.5 hours battery life and Android 4.2.2 OS. The AT703 is 10.5 mm thick and it weighs exactly 671 grams
Toshiba REGZA AT503 is mor of a mid-rang tablet packing an Nvidia quad-core Tegra 3 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, 10.1 inch WXGA (1280×800) display, 32GB built-in storage, 1GB of RAM, 3MP camera on the back, 1.2MP in front, it is 10.3 mm thick and it weighs around 600 grams.
REGZA AT703 comes with TrueNote and TruCapture Android apps, which are optimized to be used with a pen (stylus) accessory. Optionally, the customer will be able to buy a Bluetooth Dock & Keyboard with 87 keys JIS layout.
The AT703 costs 89,800 JPY (about $950 USD), while the mid-range AT503 REGZA tablet will be priced at 49,800 JPY (about $525 USD).
