Sprint 4G LTE network now available in 22 new cities, including Miami and New Orleans



As people relay nowadays more and more on wireless connectivity to share photos, videos or downloading files through their smartphones and tablets, Sprint is continuing its 4G LTE network coverage expansion by announcing today Sprint 4G signal availability in 22 new cities, including Miami and New Orleans, reaching a total of 110 markets across US.

“Today’s announcement means that more Americans will experience the speed and power of Sprint 4G LTE. Sprint is committed to delivering the latest technology through a nationwide LTE buildout, and providing new cell sites that are more compact and energy efficient,“ said Bob Azzi, senior vice president-Network, Sprint.

According to a recent study made by the management consulting firm Chetan Sharma Consulting, by 2014 the mobile data is expected to comprise 99% of the global mobile traffic, which is why Sprint’s goal is to provide LTE connectivity to more than 200 million people by the end of 2013.

  • Longview, Wash.
  • Miami
  • Napa, Calif.
  • New Orleans
  • Palatka, Fla.
  • Raleigh, N.C.
  • Sebring, Fla.
