Moto X specs emerge? 1.7GHz Dual-core CPU, 2GB RAM, 10MP camera?

Motorola X Phone

Motorola has recently confirmed the existence of its flagship smartphone – Moto X in a press release, but what we don’t know are its hardware components.

According to @evleaks, Motorola Moto X smartphone feature a 1.7GHz dual-core MSM8960 Snapdragon Pro CPU, a 720p display (likely somewhere between 4.7 – 5 inch screen), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in memory, dual cameras – 10MP on the back and a 2MP in front for video calls such as Skype, Hangouts, etc. While most of the specs seem plausible, we kind of doubt that Moto X will feature a MSM8960 chipset, now that most of the smartphones are powered by Snapdragon 600 (Snapdragon 800 on the way, as well as Nvidia’s Tegra 4) and we’ve seen Motorola partnering with Intel for at least one smartphone in the past.

The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 (JellyBean), which means it will be soon announced, since Android 4.3 upgrade is just around the corner (mid-July, the latest) and with Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie rumored for September / October release.

Any thoughts?
