SK Telecom has been hard at work in Korea to deploy its LTE-A (Advanced) CA (Carrier Aggregation) which is twice as fast as the current LTE networks available right now. The LTE-A CA network is ready to make a debut in Korea starting this September and Samsung Electronics prepares its first Galaxy S4 LTE-A based smartphone for this new network speeds which will be outed, according to sources, next month (July).
The Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE-A seems to pack a Qualcomm MSM8974 Snapdragon 800, according to a DLNA certification model number SHV-E330K. A better and faster CPU than the original Galaxy S4 which feature a Snapdragon 600 or an in-house made Samsung Exynos processor.
The new Galaxy S4 version is expected to improve the overall Galaxy S4 sales, because at this point Samsung is not that happy with its current earnings, at least thats what the press say.
