Surprising or not, the Samsung Galaxy S2 (SGH-i777) is getting an official software update as we speak, which boots Android 4.1.2 JellyBean operating system after a succesful install, firmware build UCMD8. The report comes directly from AT&T’s support forums and it is already confirmed by several users who already managed to download and install it on their phones.
The upgrade is spreading out in stages over the air and through Samsung Kies software, which means it might not be available all over the U.S. right away, but be sure that it will drop-in in the following few days.
Let us know in the comments down below how does it feel, hows the S2 after this major software upgrade. Enjoy!
