Computex 2013 is opening doors tomorrow, June 4th but the excitement builds up starting today as several Asian manufacturers has officially unveiled some of their newest gadgets. Acer Liquid S1 is Taiwan-based electronics manufacture first phablet device that we’ve been hearing about for the last few months.
The Acer Liquid S1 feature a 5.7 inch HD (1280 x 720) screen packed in a plastic material casing and flanked by aluminium-made grips on the sides instead of a metallic frame. The 5.7 inch phablet comes in single and dual SIM versions, packs a 1.5GHz quad-core processor under the hood, DTS Studio Sound technology, and runs Android 4.2 JellyBean.
In terms of pricing and availability, Acer said that the Liquid S1 will start shipping in Q3 in Europe (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Ukraine, Russia, UK and Germany, followed by Spain and Italy at €350.
