Lenovo stood up to announce six new smartphones that will cover all market segments, ranging from the entry level to the very high end: Lenovo K900, A706, A390, P980, S920 and S820.
The Lenovo K900 is the cream of the crop. It features a 5,5-inch 1080p display and more notably, a 2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Clover Trail processor. It also boasts with a slim profile of 6,9mm. Other details weren’t mentioned, but we guess 2GB of RAM comes into play.
Next up is the Lenovo A706. It houses a 1,2GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Play MSM8225Q processor, 1GB RAM, 4,5-inch FWVGA display, 5MP camera, a microSD card slot and Android 4.1 Jellybean. It’s also worth mentioning it’s a dual-SIM unit.
The Lenovo A390 is ranked even lower than its A706 sibling with its 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MTK6577 processor and 512MB RAM. It also touts a microSD card slot, a 5MP shooter and dual-SIM capability. It runs on the dated Android 4.0 ICS operating system and has a 4-inch display of WVGA resolution.
Lenovo P780 is next on the list. It packs a 1,2GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6589w processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage and a huge 400omAh battery, promising standby time of 24 days! It runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean and has two SIM card slots.
Lenovo S920 enters the game of supersized smartphones with its 5,3-inch 720p display. It has a MediaTek MTK6598w quad-core 1.2GHz chip, 1GB RAM, 4GB storage, 8MP camera and a 2250mAh battery. It runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean.
Last, but not least comes the Lenovo S820. It’s powered by a 1,2GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6598w processor, 1GB RAM and has a 4,7-inch display of HD resolution. The specs sheet is completed with the 4GB on-board storage, microSD card slot and 12MP camera with flash.
