Nexus 4 White launches May 29th in Hong Kong, global availability soon

Nexus 4 White

Google Nexus 4 White by LG has been spotted for quite a long time here and there for a brief moment, but until this morning  non of the two companies mentioned anything about the new device. Many of us wondered if this variant will feature 4G LTE technology, something the Black version lacks, also those tweaks Google and LG made to the original model so that it wont fall off the table (plane surfaces).

A few minutes ago LG Electronics went official with its newest version, announcing that the Nexus 4 White will be coming on May 29, in Hong Kong at first, and from there in other select markets world-wide (Asia, North America, Europe and Middle East) in the next few weeks.

“Nexus 4 set the standard for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean smartphones,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Mobile Communications Company. “Nexus 4 White delivers the same Google experience to consumers in a stylish and attractive color option.”

In terms of hardware specifications, LG is pretty brief about it, the Nexus 4 White packs the same gorgeous 4.7-inch 1280×768 True HD IPS Plus display (320ppi) supported by Zerogap Touch technology. Inside we have a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor and 2GB of RAM, but nothing about 4G or anything else. The phone runs Android 4.2.2 Jellybean operating system version and there is no word on its price tag.

We will be going on a “hunt” for the rest of the specs. Stay tuned!
