The Samsung Galaxy S4 has sold more than any other previous Android handset, as of May 10th it hit the 6 million mark and is expected to break the 10 million ceiling as early as the end of this month itself.
An executive confirmed that the South Korean giant sold around 4 million Galaxy S4 units worldwide. In contrast, it took 85 days for the company to shift 3 million of its S1 handsets, 55 days to do the same for the S2, and 21 days for the S3.
“As of Friday, we have sold more than 6 million units, and we predict that we could break the 10-million mark by as early as the end of this month,” the company said.
This doesn’t come as a surprise as Samsung is well known for burning a huge amount of money in advertising and marketing all around the globe. It’s Samsung’s natural strength and their strategy is bearing fruits. There’s still no sign of stopping, for now!
