Recently T-Mobile carrier made the breakthrough in the U.S. by launching monthly plans without the famous 2-year contract signing. A dream come true for every mobile subscriber. A month to month plan without a long-term commitment is what any consumer would like to subscribe to, because it gives him the possibility to move to another network the second he isnt satisfied with the operator services.
Another carrier is adopting this strategy on April 23. We are talking here about Australian carrier Telstra, who just announced that there is no need for a long-term mobile contract with Telstra’s new no lock-in plans. Regardless of whether you are on a contracted plan or one of our new flexible plans, Telstra clients will receive the same data allowance, same value to spend on Voice and MMS services and unlimited SMS – all with the flexibility to move if your circumstances change. Telstra apparently encourages it!
Telstra’s ‘No Lock-In Plans’ are available from next Tuesday, April 23, to consumer and business customers. Those who activate a $60 or above Telstra No Lock-In Plan before 1 July 2013 will receive a 1GB of data per month bonus for use in Australia.
You can sign-up here if you want to know more about these plans.
