Network providers in Canada and the U.S. recently announced the Galaxy S4’s pricing and availability. The U.S. and Canada will receive the Qualcomm variant of the Galaxy S4, instead of the Exynos 5 Octa variant. However, this isn’t uncommon, since most of Europe will be releasing the Qualcomm variant.
In the U.S., AT&T, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless, Sprint and Cricket Wireless will be featuring the Galaxy S4 on their network. Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and Cricket Wireless have not announced any pricing or pre-orders to date.
The 16GB version of the Galaxy S4 will be priced at $200 for a 2-year contract on AT&T. Pre-orders are currently available and the phone will be shipped on the 30th of April. The device will begin regular sale on the 3rd of May.
US Cellular recently started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S4, also at $200 with a 2-year contract. U.S Cellular is giving a free S View Flip Cover with pre-order as well. T-Mobile will be releasing the Galaxy S4 into retail on May 1st. According to a leaked Staples’ document, the device will be available on May 30th for Verizon customers. The Galaxy S4, 16GB will also be available for no contract, SIM-free, for $640. The 32GB will also be available later on in the year.
The Galaxy S4 will be launched on Rogers and Telus for $200 with a 3-year contract, or $700 SIM-free. Pre-orders are expected to be delivered by April 26th and the device will go on sale for May 3rd.
