When it comes down to creating slim-profile devices, Oppo is a master. If you wonder why, well, it has several devices that have broken the record of world’s thinnest smartphone over the past years. The current record, which is held by an Oppo smartphone by the way, will be broken by the Oppo Find 2, a smartphone that’s set for Q2 2013 with a razor-thin profile of 6,13mm!
Design-wise, the Find 2 is a good-looking device by all means. Its back has a Galaxy S4-lookalike pattern, which we are really fond of. The front is mainly covered by the screen, as on every other modern smartphone. The specs are equal to what we’ve used to see in a typical high-end device last year, which is not bad at all. Inside lies a quad-core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB storage, while the display is a 4,5-inch one with HD resolution. The Oppo Find 2 is intended for the Chinese market, thus touting dual-SIM capabilities and WCDMA network radios.
The smartphone could be yours for 2498 Yuan, or $404 when released. Sadly, the odds are it won’t ship abroad, so you could have this beauty only if you happen to be anywhere but in China.
