Introduced over a year ago along with the GALAXY Mini 2, both running Android 2.3 at that time, the Samsung GALAXY Ace 2 is now reportedly getting firmware update build JZO54K from Samsung and its Android 4.1.2 JellyBean. We know it is still April Fools, but this isn’t a prank or anything, the little fellow is actually getting a well-deserved upgrade. Read more

Samsung unveiled Galaxy Pocket Neo and Galaxy Star:

Samsung has been attentively listening to users and came up with a whole bing of new Galaxy devices, the latest two being the Galaxy Pocket Neo & Galaxy Star which are the absolute bang-for-buck devices, being relatively powerful while conserving a low price tag of €150 (aprox $190). Asus Transfrmer Pad Infinity TF700 received Android 4.2 in US:

Looks like Asus is ready to deploy Android 4.2 firmware upgrade globally on the Pad Infinity, as the company posted another message on its official global Facebook page, and also keeping a promise made in front of its costumers, a while ago. Read changelog

Samsung launched Galaxy Win, Galaxy Trend 2 and Trend 2 Duos  in China:

Samsung as recently announced a trio of mid-range Samsung devices targeted at the Chinese market, the recently leaked Galaxy Win has been confirmed. – The latter is accompanied by two other mid-rangers namely the Galaxy Trend II & Galaxy Trend II. Check the spec sheets

Facebook Home for Android went official:

Facebook Inc has officially unveiled Facebook Home application for a limited number of Android-running devices. The application integrates perfectly with Facebook for Android and Facebook Messenger and has 4 major features: Cover feed, Chat Heads, Notifications and App Launcher. See it in action

LG Optimus 4X HD received Android 4.1 Jellybean in Europe:

Android 4.1.2 is now deploying onto LG Optimus 4X HD LG-P880 devices all over Europe. The firmware build KDZ version V20A is not available over the air, but you can get it through LG Update tool. If you do not have it installed download it from LG website. See more
