Touted as a follow-up of the Transformer Prime TF201, over a year ago at MWC 2012, the Asus Pad Infinity was announced back then as the worlds first Android tablet with a Full HD display and 4G LTE support, the tablet is scheduled to receive Android 4.1 upgrade in Q2.
At launch TF700T was based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and unfortunately for customers the upgrade to JellyBean has never become available, however this is subject to a change, according to Asus Australia.
According to a tweet posted by Asus AUS which sounded like this “If we say TF700T and JellyBean, what is the first thing that comes to your mind?” the manufacturer hints to an imminent software upgrade to Android 4.1 for Asus Pad Infinity consumers.
To see if this is really happening we went ahead and checked Asus official website, however we couldn’t find any firmware updates available for the TF700T. So is the upgrade really happening, probably not, at least not yet. We believe that by mid-April if not by the end of this month Asus will begin rolling out JellyBean upgrades all over the world for this tablet.
If by any chance someone gets lucky enough to receive the upgrade, please do let us know in the comments section down below. Thanks!
