The recently uncovered Galaxy S4 Mini has been confirmed today, the device will be available in four distinct breeds according to Samsung’s website. The Galaxy S4 Mini otherwise known as GT-I9190 is the GT-I9500’s little brother, it should promise a relatively good price-performance balance given the success of its predecessor while sold out like hot cakes.
The four versions are as follows:
An official announcement could just be days away given that the details come right off Samsung, so far we know that it’s feature a 4.3-inch (10.9cm) display with a standard resolution of 540 x 960 pixels at 256ppi. As far as hardware is concerned the Galaxy S4 Mini shall use a dual core or quad-core SoC with 1GB of RAM along with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
The SoC will very likely be the Exynos 5210 which just popped up hours ago in the SDMK5410 indicating that a new ARM SoC was added to the ARM Linux Kernel, the latter will reportedly use ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture on a Cortex-A15 quad core configuration (2+2).
