Verizon Wireless pretty much left out its customers owning GALAXY Nexus smartphone. The handset is way behind other Nexus phones when it comes to Android software upgrades, while Google Nexus phones already run on Android 4.2.2, Verizon version is still on 4.1, but that should change soon.
Looks like ‘the Big Red‘ has plans to start rolling out Android 4.2 JellyBean software update to GNex units in the following short-term period, according to a tweet reply to one of their customers wondering when it will happen. Check below for the full conversation.
