At the MWC 2013 in Barcelona, LG is to introduce its new F-series. LG is expanding its “solid LTE presence” with the Optimus F5 and the Optimus F7, both being designed to bring a “premium user experience and the speed of 4G LTE to a mass audience.” Ofcourse, this is dependent of your country’s providers, but the phones are ready. LG is planning to take a large share of the 4G LTE market.

The Optimus F5 comes with a 4.3 inch IPS display with 256ppi. It’s powered by a 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor, comes with 1GB of RAM, 8GB storage (expandable by MicroSD up to 32GB) and a 5.0MP rear camera. LG points at the “largest-in-class” battery: 2,150mAh.

The Optimus F7 comes with a 4.7 inch True HD IPS screen with 312ppi. The Optimus F7 is powered by an 1.5GHz Dual-Core processor, powered by a 2,540mAh battery. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable by MicroSD up to 32GB).

Both the Optimus F7 and the Optimus F5 are running Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2. The worldwide out of the F5 will start in Europe, second Q of 2013, followed by the F7 in selected markets. More news is to come from MWC, Barcelona.
