The Sony Xperia Z has been treated with something only few Android devices had got before their actual launch: root! This comes as a great news, especially after our few-days-old report of the release of the Xperia Z kernel sources.
The ‘unimaginable’ thing has been achieved by XDA Recognized Developer DooMLoRD, who is popular among the Sony sections on XDA-Developers forum. He has accomplished this by insecuring the boot.img that comes with the stock firmware, and then flashing it to the device. That results with root access after every reboot of the device.
The insecured boot.img is available for download to everyone at DooMLoRD’s thread at XDA-Developers. If you have plans of getting yourself a nice Xperia Z smartphone and want to jump into rooting right from the beginning, don’t hesitate preparing the needed files for gaining root access on your smartphone.
