AT&T has finally managed to release the Exynos security patch for its Samsung Galaxy Note 2 offering, though the global version of the smartphone have had it for quite some time now. It’s a small update, roughly 8MB in size, that should fix the potential brick issue found on devices based on the Exynos 4412 chipset.
The firmware version is I317UCAMA4, and it’s still Android 4.1.2 Jellybean. It will take some time until the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is updated to the latest iteration of Android. If you still haven’t received the update notification, you can update your device manually, by going to Settings/About phone.
