It’s a tradition adopted by Samsung in order to provide 3rd party developers which their latest open source kernel source code for further development, that move will surely please developers who were bashing Samsung for not providing some specific source codes.

The open source kernel is based on the I9100XXLSD firmware and features Kernel 3.0.31, developers can head over to for the kernel source.
