A week after LG Optimus G Pro has leaked in blurry shots, LG Mobile decided that it is time to unveil and confirm its newest top of the class Android smartphone confirming that huge 5.5 inch.
In its morning press release LG Mobile hasn’t revealed much when it comes to specifications of this new flagship handset, however the OEM confirmed the Full HD (1920×1080) display covered with slightly curved glass and surrounded by a metal frame.
LG Optimus G Pro body is also slightly curved giving it a three-dimensional effect which LG calls “2.5D mystical effect.” The back of G Pro inherits Nexus 4 sleek texture called ‘Digital Cube Pattern’ which if exposed to light in some angles the back shimmers. The press images reveal a ultra-thin bezel at the front.
Aside from what LG revealed rumors point to a 1.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm processor with 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage which can easily extended for up to 32GB via a microSD card slot, 13 MP rear-facing camera (1080p video recording), 2MP in front, LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and of corse JellyBean OS.
There is no mention in the press release about availability of this phone nor its price, however these tiny details likely to be unveiled in the press event scheduled for the end of the month at MWC in Barcelona, where LG says “Breakthrough will be made.“
