It is Monday and we have excellent news for some of you! HTC’s CEO himself promised at an official event back in October last year that HTC One X and HTC One S will be getting JellyBean upgrades and while the One X update has almost deployed everywhere, HTC One S owners are still waiting for it. Some HTC One S lucky owners from Norway got an upgrade right before Christmas, others are reportedly receiving it right now.
Users living in Eastern Europe, Latvia and Romania have reportedly been receiving Android 4.1.1 software upgrades on their HTC One S phones since this morning. The international variant seems to be getting the long-awaited firmware upgrade to JellyBean this week. The new build is 3.17.401.102 and its an OTA (over the air) update of 600MB file size.
We should expect other carriers in Europe to begin spreading out Android 4.1upgrade to HTC One S owners.
