These days everyone wants to have its own phablet offering, and ZTE is no exception. In fact, we have already known for some time that the Chinese is going to bring one at MWC 2013, but we haven’t got clue of its looks, up until now, as we got images of the yet-to-be-announced ZTE Grand Memo phablet.
The Grand Memo comes with a 5,7-inch 720p display, 1,7GHz quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 13MP camera, microSD card slot, etc. It runs on Android 4.1.2 Jellybean skinned with ZTE‘s familiar user-interface.
The phone has a distinctive design, light and thin, tipping at 8mm of thickness. The build materials are all plastic, and remind us of the ZTE Grand S.
On the front side, you will notice the huge 5,7-inch display, the three capacitive buttons below, and the earpiece at the top, along with the front camera.
On the back, you’ll find the 13MP camera, a LED flash, and the ZTE logo, but nothing more than that. The back cover is supposed to be quite grippy, and we hope it’s not a fingerprint magnet.
Overall, the device looks promising, although the screen is not the best we’ve seen. We’re curious what else ZTE brings at the Mobile World Congress 2013.
