AOSP gets updated to revision 1.2, build JOP40G

A new revision of the Android 4.2.1 source has just surfaced, the new source bears the name of 4.2.1, aka release 1.2 which fixes some minor issues in the Android subsystem.

This minor changes improves power management and improves file handling in theĀ  EXT4 partition system on all current Nexus devices, that includes the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 & Nexus 10 as well as the Galaxy Nexus. The new build allegedly fixes the random charger-related reboot problems on the Nexus 4. Sadly this minor incremental change does not address the Bluetooth issues, that is quite possibly reserved for Android 4.2.2 which is only few weeks/months away. A full changelong was made available on Github.
