The Galaxy S4, the next flagship device from Samsung may be released sooner than expected. Sources close to VR-Zone have reported that the beast shall pop out during the last weeks of April, that will match Samsung’s 1-year release cycle. It appears that Samsung is prepping quite a stunning device from what we already know!
This sources was also correct with release information regarding the exact release dates of the Apple’s iPad Mini and the iPhone 5. We can assume that their information is reliable in this case. VR-Zone was also told that Samsung would not introduce the Galaxy S4 during MWC2013 as rumored previously but will instead reveal it during a special ‘unpacked event‘ as it was the case with the Galaxy SIII, as far as we know that event shall take place sometime around March this year.
As for the specification sheet the Galaxy S4 shall feature the very latest Exynos 5 Octa SoC from Samsung packed with 8-cores clocking at 1.8GHz with 2GB of RAM, ARM‘s big.LITTLE architecture which shall ensure more power savings. Reports indicate that device will sport a 4.99-inch (12.6cm) AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It will come with standard storage capacities of 16GB, 32GB & 64GB expandable with a MicroSD card slot.
