Everybody knows Huawei is about to showcase a new flagship at MWC which will hold the name Huawei Ascend P2, but not everyone knows how it looks like. Fortunately, we have the press render of the device that can be seen above.
Quite naturally, the Ascend P2 takes a thing or two from the design of its predecessor, but we can say it has turned to the better side. Now it relies on on-screen buttons instead of the old-school hardware ones. The back is now flat, as opposed to Ascend P1’s patterned back panel with a hump in the bottom part. Huawei’s choice of materials for this device is still unknown though.
Specs-wise, the hardware found inside is second to none. The Huawei P2 packs a 4,5-inch FullHD display, a beefy 1,8GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM for all your multitasking needs, 13MP camera, and a 3000mAh battery, which is above what we are currently used to see on smartphones. The Android version will be Jellybean, yet we don’t know if it will be 4.1 or 4.2.
If we count everything what we’ve seen so far, MWC 2013 is going to be an interesting conference. We’ll continue to inform you about the coming news regarding the event.
