Samsung Galaxy Grand officially announced in Korea



The high demand for large screen devices in the last couple of years compelled manufacturers like Samsung to keep rising the bar leading to what it is today its biggest 5.5 inch phablet the GALAXY Note II.

This morning, South Korean OEM has announced a new mobile product – GALAXY Grand, a 5 inch handheld with a mid-range screen resolution (480×800), but with premium hardware. It is powered by an 1.4GHz quad core Exynos 4412 processor with 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal phone memory, 8MP camera, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 and Android 4.1 Jellybean.

GALAXY Grand is 9.8mm thick at its 169 grams and it will be released in Korea for now (it is a global model) on all three major carriers as SHV-E270S, SHV-E270L for a undisclosed price.
