According to the Korean newspaper Asian Economics, Samsung is planning to hold an Mobile Unpacked event on March 22 in the US. The Samsung Mobile Unpacked events always bring us the announcement of a new flagship device, and this time they will probably announce the Samsung Galaxy S IV.
The new device carries the codename ‘Altius’ within the company and Samsung is planning to ship the device starting early April which makes sense since it’s a week after the Mobile Unpacked event.
In terms of specs Samsung Galaxy S IV is rumoured to have a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED Full HD screen, the new Exynos 5 Octa-Core CPU, Mali-T658 Octa-Core GPU, 2Gb RAM, 13MP rear cam and 2MP front cam, a 2600 mAh battery and Android 4.2.1 JellyBean. Samsung will also release a back cover with wireless charging capabilities and a docking station later. It will come in Black and White at launch, but knowing Samsung other colours might be released later this year.
