Samsung GALAXY Note 8.0 gets caught on a blurry screenshot just under 24 hours after Mr J.K. Shin, the CEO of Samsung Mobile has confirmed the device. Our source confirms (maybe he added these specs from earlier reports) some of the specs that will go into the new GALAXY Note which is built with the intention to compete against the likes of Apple’s Ipad Mini.
The next generation of GALAXY Note looks awfully similar to the Nexus 10 except it is smaller and the camera on the back which is a 5MP one, is aligned vertically while on the Google Nexus 10 is aligned horizontally. There’s also a 1.3MP front-facing camera for video chats. In terms of hardware specs the GNote 8.0 comes with an 8 inch (1280×800 screen resolution) display, powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos processor (we cant really tell which CPU it is), 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage accompanied by a microSD card slot, HSPA+ 21Mbps and the S Pen.
Likely the GALAXY Note 8.0 will run on Android 4.1.2 JellyBean which will be later upgradable to a more recent version (4.2).
We are excepting Samsung to bring this new toy at Mobile World Congress later next month.
